My name is Matteo Amici, and Onda Handpan was born from a personal need:
to rediscover balance through sound.
I didn’t start from a shop.
I started from an inner search, from a moment when I truly needed to feel — deeply.
When I discovered the handpan, something resonated within me.
An instrument that doesn’t ask for virtuosity, but for presence.
That doesn’t need technique, but listening.
That was the beginning of a journey made of study, discovery, and encounters with artisans and harmonic instrument makers from all over Europe.
Today I create connections between people and sound, through instruments that transcend matter and visual form.
